Martin Luther King - Dollar Design
For the $100 bill I chose Martin Luther King. MLK is 1 of the most powerful men of our time. He helped pave the way for African Americans and he fought so that WE would have a better chance at life. If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t be in schools with other races, drinking from the same fountains, or eating at the same places. Although there is still racism today Martin helped us overcome it and till this day he is thanked.

Trayvon Martin - Dollar Design
For the $1 bill design I chose Trayvon Martin. The reason I chose him is because recently he was killed by a white man because he assumed Trayvon, an African American, was up to no good. He was only 17 and still had his whole life ahead of him, but it was taken due to racism. A lot of people have been killed based upon this reason, but this is getting out of control. He was so young! Hopefully this will shed some light on people’s hearts and they’ll change.

Michelle Obama - Dollar Design
March 29, 2012
For the $20 bill design I chose Michelle Obama. I chose her because she stands for many things in a positive way. She’s the African American first lady who not only stands behind her husband 100%, but she does things on her own. She shows that women don’t need men to be successful in life by taking matters into her own hands. Not only that, but she helps kids get into shape and stay active by joining them in fun exercises. Michelle is a role model not only for black girls, bot for ALL girls.
